It really hits you hard, trying to sit there and explain what’s going on in your head to others, regardless of your mental state. It will never be an easy thing to do, ever, others cannot feel the same way that you do because we’re all just individuals. You don’t have to explain yourself, although hard it may be not to. I don’t really know what I’m trying to say, but I guess don’t feel like you have to fit into someone else’s standards, and don’t feel like you have to explain yourself to others, because you don’t.
Donnie Darko Richard Kelly

The Wizard of Frank.
“Lions, and tigers, and bears, and rabbits! Oh, my!”
Frank, probably one of the most terrifying beings in the history of the world.
My favourite track off the Donnie Darko soundtrack, composed by Michael Andrews
Waltz In The 4th Dimension.
The composer Michael Andrews who is primarily a guitarist was told that there was to be no guitar in the soundtrack, so he taught himself from scratch how to play instruments, which he said kept him to write simple drawn out melodies, nothing to technical.
He also didn’t have the money to hire anyone to play, even if he wanted to.
”In a way,” he says, “your faults become your trademark.”
